    • Life Cycle: "Development in host cell proper. Without attachment organelle or "vaginal" tube. Oocysts with zero, one, two, four, or more sporocysts, each with one or more sporozoites. Homoxenous or at least without asexual multiplication in nondefinitive host; merogony within host, sporogony typically outside host. Microgametes with two or three flagella; without metrocytes. ...In feces of salamander Taricha (=Triturus) torosa (Salamandridae) from North America (Califonia)" (Levine, 1980).
